Alanis Siffert Wins Alpe d'Huez Triathlon; Other Triathlon News

Alanis Siffert continued her winning streak by claiming her third consecutive title at the Alpe d'Huez Triathlon, finishing 9:30 ahead of Jeanne Collonge and Nina Derron. Siffert dominated the race, achieving the fastest times in all three disciplines.

The Alpe d'Huez Triathlon features a 2.2-km swim, a challenging 118-km bike ride with significant elevation gain, and a 19.2-km run. In the men's category, Thomas Steger improved from third place last year to win in 2026, aided by a strong bike performance.

In other news, Mohamed Lahna completed a historic Triathlon Across America, becoming the first athlete with a prosthesis to finish this grueling event. His journey raised over $166,000 for charity. Additionally, Poland's Bartlomiej Kubkowski made history by swimming across the Baltic Sea, and the IRONMAN South Africa Championship will relocate to Mossel Bay in 2027.
