Alba Larsen to Compete in F1 Academy for Third Season in 2027
Alba Larsen, a 17-year-old driver from Denmark, has announced her continuation in the F1 Academy for the 2027 season with the support of Ferrari. She becomes the first driver confirmed for the all-female racing series next year.
This upcoming season will mark Larsen's third consecutive year in the F1 Academy, following a rule change that allows drivers demonstrating strong potential to extend their participation beyond the previous two-year limit.
Larsen, who joined the Ferrari Driver Academy in August 2025, is currently ranked fourth in the drivers' standings with 50 points. The F1 Academy series will hold its fifth round in Austin from October 22-25, coinciding with the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix weekend.
