Alec Bohm Reaches Settlement with Parents in Financial Dispute

Alec Bohm has settled a lawsuit against his parents, Daniel and Lisa Bohm, regarding claims of financial mismanagement. The settlement occurred just before a scheduled court hearing in Philadelphia, concluding a public legal dispute that began on March 25.

Bohm's lawsuit accused his parents of financial impropriety while managing limited liability companies (LLCs) on his behalf, alleging they misrepresented their stakes and misused funds from his baseball earnings. He sought $3 million in damages and the return of over $528,000 that he claimed was improperly moved to a trust.

The terms of the settlement remain confidential. Bohm's legal team had previously argued that the operating agreements for the LLCs were fraudulent, while his parents' lawyers contended that the case should be moved to arbitration in Florida. The legal battle unfolded during a pivotal season for Bohm, who is approaching free agency and has shown improved performance on the field.
