Alec Pierce Continues Recovery from Ankle Surgery

Alec Pierce, a receiver for the Colts, has been on the active/physically unable to perform list since training camp began due to ankle surgery he underwent in the offseason.

During a press conference, head coach Shane Steichen noted that while the timeline for Pierce's return to practice is still uncertain, he is encouraged by Pierce's progress, stating that he is heading in the right direction.

Pierce, who is 26 years old, signed a four-year contract worth $114 million with the Colts in March and is coming off a season where he recorded 47 receptions for 1,003 yards and six touchdowns over 15 games in 2025.
