Alex Albon Shares Encounter with Max Verstappen During Sardinia Getaway
During his summer break in Sardinia, Alex Albon, a driver for Williams Formula 1, experienced an unexpected encounter with Max Verstappen while trying to learn e-foiling.
Albon spent four days in a popular Sardinia location where he attempted to ride an electrically powered surfboard. While he struggled to keep his balance, Verstappen, who was riding at high speed, passed him effortlessly. Initially unaware of Verstappen's identity, Albon later recognized him and shared the moment with his companions.
In addition to his time in Sardinia, Albon's summer included a trip to South Africa, a week in the Dolomites, and training in Monaco. Following the break, Formula 1 resumed with a sprint race weekend at Zandvoort, where Albon finished 16th in the sprint race and qualified in the same position for the Dutch Grand Prix.
