Alex Lees Leads Durham with Unbeaten 53 on Rain-Impacted Day

Lees demonstrated skill and focus despite challenging weather conditions, having lost his opening partner Ben McKinney early in the seventh over. McKinney had initially scored six runs before being caught behind after attempting a risky drive. Lees then formed a solid partnership with Will Rhodes, contributing to a second-wicket stand of 61 runs before Rhodes was dismissed for 23 by Brett Randell.
