Alex Pereira Expresses Frustration Over UFC Matchmaking Decisions
Alex Pereira has voiced his dissatisfaction with the UFC's recent matchmaking decisions, particularly regarding potential fights against Ciryl Gane and Josh Hokit.
Pereira noted that he was initially informed about the possibility of fighting Gane for the title or Hokit, but neither matchup materialized. He believes that facing Hokit would be significantly easier for him compared to Sergei Pavlovich, whom he considers a more formidable opponent.
Despite his frustrations, Pereira mentioned that he had a constructive conversation with UFC executive Hunter Campbell to address the situation. He acknowledged that while Pavlovich poses a greater challenge, he also views that matchup as a favorable opportunity for himself.
