Aline Pereira to Compete for UFC Contract in October

Aline Pereira is preparing to compete for a UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series, scheduled for October 13 in Las Vegas. This opportunity would allow her to join her brother, Alex Pereira, a two-weight UFC champion, in the promotion.

Aline, who has a mixed martial arts record of 3-2, will face Smilla Sundell, an undefeated Muay Thai champion from ONE Championship. Aline's victories have all come by decision, with her latest win being a split decision against Jade Masson-Wong in May.

Having transitioned to MMA in 2022 after a successful kickboxing career, Aline previously stepped away from the sport but returned in late 2025. She is trained by her brother, Alex, who recently lost an interim heavyweight title fight. Sundell, her opponent, has two MMA wins and made history as the youngest champion in ONE Championship.
