Alisha Palmowski Claims F1 Academy Title in Austin
Alisha Palmowski, a 20-year-old driver from Britain, won the F1 Academy title at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin after finishing second in a reverse grid race on Saturday.
This achievement crowned her as the youngest champion of the all-female development series and made her the second British driver to win the title, following Abbi Pulling in 2024. Palmowski, who drives for Campos Racing and is part of the Red Bull driver academy, has won five out of the 11 races this season.
Before the race, only Austrian Emma Felbermayr had a chance to challenge Palmowski for the title, but her fourth-place finish ended those hopes. Denmark's Alba Larsen won the race, marking her first victory in the F1 Academy, with France's Lisa Billard finishing third.
