Allegiant Stadium to Undergo $158 Million Renovation Ahead of 2029 Super Bowl
Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is set for a significant renovation ahead of the 2029 Super Bowl. The Las Vegas Stadium Authority has approved up to $75 million from the Waterfall Residual Fund for the $158 million project, which aims to improve the North Entry of the stadium.
The renovation will enhance pedestrian access, traffic flow, and rideshare operations, addressing congestion issues at one of the busiest entry points. Construction is expected to start in the third quarter of 2027 and finish by the end of 2028, ensuring the upgrades are completed before the Super Bowl.
The project includes a new raised pedestrian deck for better connectivity from the Las Vegas Strip and a redesigned entry plaza with a canopy for shade and potential entertainment uses. The Raiders will fund the remaining costs of the renovation, which is part of ongoing efforts to maintain Allegiant Stadium's status as a premier venue.
