MONTREAL — The Montreal Alouettes achieved a decisive 48-30 victory over the Edmonton Elks, with Davis Alexander throwing four touchdown passes on Saturday at Molson Stadium.

Alexander completed 22 of 28 passes for 352 yards and also rushed for a touchdown, improving his starting record to 19-1 in front of 22,535 fans. Tyson Philpot, who leads the league in receiving yards, caught three touchdown passes and added 131 yards to his season total, contributing to the Alouettes' sixth consecutive win.

The Alouettes' offense was bolstered by Tyler Snead, who recorded 146 receiving yards and a touchdown. On defense, Gemon Green and Tyrice Beverette forced turnovers, while special teams made an impact with a blocked punt by Kylan Guidry. Edmonton's quarterback Cody Fajardo threw for 231 yards and two touchdowns but faced significant pressure from Montreal's defense.
