Alpha Prime Racing Teams Up with Ford for 2027 NASCAR Season

Alpha Prime Racing has announced a partnership with Ford, set to begin in 2027, to field Ford Mustangs in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.

The team will utilize Ford Mustangs for its No. 44 and No. 45 entries, with current drivers Brennan Poole and Lavar Scott. Ford has not had a full-time presence in this level of NASCAR since the closure of Am Racing earlier this year.

Alpha Prime Racing plans to start integrating Ford equipment during select races in the 2026 season. The team, co-owned by Tommy Joe Martins, Caesar Bacarella, and Craig Martins, has yet to achieve a victory but has recorded five top-five finishes and 19 top-ten finishes since its inception in the early 2020s.
