
Alpine Appoints Mike Elliott as Chief Technical Officer
Alpine has announced the appointment of Mike Elliott as the chief technical officer for its Formula 1 team, enhancing the technical structure of the Enstone-based organization.
Elliott, who previously worked at Alpine as the principal aerodynamicist, will oversee the technical and engineering functions at the factory. He has a notable history in the sport, having served as head of aerodynamics and later as technical director at Mercedes, where he contributed to multiple championships before leaving the team in 2023.
Alpine emphasized Elliott's extensive experience, highlighting his role in securing eight constructors' and eight drivers' championships. His leadership is expected to bolster the team's technical capabilities as they aim to improve their performance and compete more effectively in the constructors' championship.
