Alvin Kamara Approaches 5,000 Career Yards in Both Rushing and Receiving

Alvin Kamara, the running back for the New Orleans Saints, is on the verge of a significant milestone in his NFL career. With 7,324 rushing yards and 4,995 receiving yards, he needs only five more receiving yards to reach 5,000 in both categories.

If he achieves this, Kamara will join an exclusive group of only five other players in NFL history who have accomplished 5,000 yards in both rushing and receiving. The players who have previously reached this milestone include Marshall Faulk, Marcus Allen, Tiki Barber, Christian McCaffrey, and Lenny Moore.

At 31 years old, Kamara's performance this season has been less impactful, with only 25 carries for 74 yards and 11 receptions for 47 yards. Despite his declining stats, he is close to achieving this notable career accomplishment.
