Alvin Kamara to Miss a Month Due to MCL Strain
Alvin Kamara, the star running back for the New Orleans Saints, is expected to miss at least a month due to an MCL strain. The injury occurred during a joint practice with the Dallas Cowboys, as reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Initially feared to be a more severe injury that could sideline him for the entire season, it has been confirmed that Kamara will not require surgery and may return early in the season. Despite this, he has a history of missing games, having played only 11 games last season and 13 in 2023.
Kamara, now 31, has demonstrated his ability to perform well when healthy, accumulating significant rushing yards and touchdowns in recent seasons. Over his nine-year NFL career, he has achieved 7,250 rushing yards and 61 touchdowns.
