Amazing Red Comments on John Cena Using His Move in WWE

TNA wrestler Amazing Red has expressed his reaction to John Cena utilizing his signature move, the Code Red, in WWE matches. Cena first performed the move during his Royal Rumble match against AJ Styles in 2017 and has since used it in various events, including SummerSlam and Clash in Paris in 2025.

In a recent podcast appearance, Red acknowledged that the move has become associated with Cena and shared his surprise at the attention he received after Cena's first use of it. He also mentioned that wrestling veteran Sting has executed the move as well.

Red recounted the origins of the Code Red, explaining that he developed it while wrestling with his younger brother. He noted that he plans to share footage of their early wrestling antics on YouTube. Recently, Red made a return to TNA at Slammiversary after nearly 15 years and was announced for induction into the TNA Hall of Fame.
