Amon-Ra St. Brown on Track for Record Catches in Sixth NFL Season
Amon-Ra St. Brown, a receiver for the Detroit Lions, is poised to make history in his sixth NFL season. After being drafted in the fourth round five years ago, he has already set the record for the most catches through five seasons with 547, averaging 109.4 catches per season.
To break the current record of 579 catches, held by Justin Jefferson, St. Brown requires only 33 receptions in the upcoming 2026 season. His impressive track record includes four Pro Bowl selections and multiple All-Pro honors.
Despite the Lions finishing last in the NFC North in 2025, they are expected to improve in 2026, aided by a favorable schedule. The team, featuring St. Brown alongside Jameson Williams and running back Jahmyr Gibbs, aims to capitalize on their matchups against the Titans, Giants, and Cardinals.
