Amy Hardcastle Announces Retirement from International Rugby

Amy Hardcastle, the all-time leading try scorer for the England women's rugby team, has declared her retirement from international play. The 37-year-old centre from St Helens scored 30 tries in 29 appearances since her debut in 2009.

Hardcastle made her announcement just a month before the Rugby League World Cup, where she has participated in the last three tournaments. Despite her retirement from the national team, she will remain active in club rugby.
