Amy Hunt Finishes Second in Lausanne 200m at Diamond League
Amy Hunt achieved a second-place finish in the women's 200m at the Diamond League event held in Lausanne, Switzerland. She completed the race in 22.32 seconds, narrowly beating Nigerian athlete Favour Ofili in a close finish.
The race was won by American Kayla White, who clocked in at 22.18 seconds. Notably, former world champion Shericka Jackson withdrew due to a leg injury, and two-time Diamond League champion Brittany Brown did not participate.
Hunt's performance comes after a remarkable week at the European Championships in Birmingham, where she won four gold medals, making her the first athlete to achieve this feat in a single edition of the event. The next Diamond League meeting is scheduled for Silesia, Poland, on August 23.
