Amy Hunt Secures Second Place in 100m at Diamond League Final

Amy Hunt achieved a second-place finish in the 100m at the Diamond League final held in Brussels, completing the race in 11.06 seconds. The 24-year-old British athlete trailed Jamaica's Tina Clayton, who won with a time of 10.93 seconds, and surpassed American Olympic silver medallist Sha'Carri Richardson, who finished third in 11.07 seconds.

This performance follows Hunt's successful run at the European Championships, where she secured four gold medals. She expressed confidence in her abilities, stating that she is not intimidated by her competitors and enjoys the challenge of racing against them.

Hunt is set to compete again in the 100m and 200m at the upcoming Ultimate Championships in Budapest, starting on September 11. In related events, fellow Briton Georgia Hunter Bell placed fourth in the 1500m, while Switzerland's Audrey Werro won the women's 800m final.
