Anand Joseph emerged as a surprising hero for the Thrissur Titans, leading them to the Kerala Cricket League final with a stunning performance against the Trivandrum Royals at the Sports Hub Greenfield stadium on Thursday.

In a nail-biting finish, the Titans required 15 runs from the final over bowled by Rahul Chandran. After a slow start, Anand hit a six and a four on consecutive balls, ultimately sealing the match with another six, finishing with an unbeaten 16 runs off just three balls.

Earlier in the match, Anand also made a significant impact with the ball, taking two wickets and helping to restrict the Royals to 163 runs. Despite losing early wickets, the Titans managed to chase down the target, with Anand's late-game heroics proving crucial for their one-wicket victory.
