Anderson Silva Sends Support to Tim Kennedy After Congo Ambush
Anderson Silva has reached out to Tim Kennedy, a former UFC colleague, following a violent ambush in the Democratic Republic of the Congo on September 17.
During the incident, Kennedy was shot multiple times while working as a private military contractor for The Vectus Group. He was among approximately 20 individuals affected by the attack and is currently receiving treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, D.C., for injuries sustained primarily to his leg.
Silva shared a heartfelt message on social media, offering prayers and strength to Kennedy and his family. He also acknowledged the loss of former New Zealand SAS soldier Justin Conaglen, who was killed in the ambush, and expressed condolences for all those impacted by the event.
