The match will take place at Arena Mexico, marking El Idolo's return following his last encounter there, which resulted in a loss to Volador Jr. in December 2023. His most recent appearance was on the August 5, 2026 episode of AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Mexico.

Additionally, the event will feature a Lucha De Apuestas eliminator match involving Mistico & Averno against Templario & Último Guerrero, Dragón Rojo Jr & Bárbaro Cavernario, and Zandokan Jr & Star Jr.
