Aneesah Morrow and Marina Mabrey Set to Play for Toronto Tempo Against Valkyries
Aneesah Morrow and Marina Mabrey are prepared to play for the Toronto Tempo in their game against the Golden State Valkyries on Tuesday.
Morrow, who was recently acquired from the Connecticut Sun, missed the previous game due to conditioning but is now listed as available. The 23-year-old forward has played 20 games this season, averaging 11.6 points and 8.9 rebounds. Mabrey returns after missing the last game due to a neck injury, having previously sat out another game this season. She is averaging a career-high 20.9 points and ranks fifth in the league for points per game.
Morrow was traded for a 2028 second-round pick and the rights to Maria Kliundikova. She had a standout rookie year, leading in defensive rebounding percentage. Mabrey has been a key player for the Tempo, leading the league in three-pointers made.
