He criticized fans for wanting immediate resolutions in storylines, implying that they should remain spectators rather than attempting to dictate the narrative. His comments followed a similar sentiment shared by Karmen Petrovic, a member of Perros del Mal, who encouraged fans to simply watch the show.

The storyline in question involved Penta being offered a chance to rejoin Perros del Mal, contingent on winning the WWE Luchador Tournament and facing Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship in Mexico City. Penta's refusal to join led to a match against Bronco Nima, which he won, resulting in Nima's expulsion from the faction.
