Angels Place Nolan Schanuel and Wade Meckler on Injured List

The Los Angeles Angels have announced that first baseman Nolan Schanuel will be placed on the 10-day injured list due to a right intercostal strain, while outfielder Wade Meckler has been placed on the 7-day concussion injured list. These moves come ahead of their game against the Texas Rangers.

Schanuel experienced discomfort during a recent game and was removed in the sixth inning. He previously dealt with an ankle issue earlier this season. Meckler was injured after being hit in the head by a pitch in a game against the Houston Astros.

In response to these injuries, the Angels have recalled outfielder Gustavo Campero and infielder Christian Moore. Campero has performed well in the minors this season, while Moore has shown promise despite a challenging stint in the majors.
