Anthony Henry Announces Need for Neck Surgery and Recovery Timeline
Wrestler Anthony Henry, known for his work in AEW and ROH, has announced that he will undergo neck surgery due to a herniated disc affecting his spinal cord. This decision follows ongoing health issues he has faced since 2021.
Henry shared an update on social media, revealing the severity of his condition and stating that recovery could take between three to six months. He expressed his intention to return to wrestling stronger and more motivated, thanking AEW and the medical staff for their support.
In addition to his neck problems, Henry has dealt with a torn bicep and a condition called Heterotopic Ossification, which has limited his arm mobility. Despite these challenges, he continued to compete, although at reduced capacity. His last matches occurred in July, with a singles loss on July 31 against Juice Robinson.
