Anthony Hernandez Trains with Sean Strickland Ahead of UFC Sacramento
Anthony Hernandez dedicated his summer to training in Las Vegas with Sean Strickland and the Xtreme Couture team, preparing for his main event fight against Gregory Rodrigues at UFC Sacramento this Saturday.
After a stoppage loss to Strickland at UFC Houston in February, Hernandez sought to improve by leaving his family and usual training partners to focus on his skills at the UFC Performance Institute. He described the experience as transformative, allowing him to concentrate solely on fighting with the support of his wife and family.
Hernandez noted a change in his mindset, appearing more serious and focused than in previous interviews. He holds an 8-1 record in his last nine fights, while Rodrigues comes into the match on a three-fight winning streak. Hernandez respects Rodrigues but emphasizes the importance of their bout for their families, as it will showcase their fighting abilities.
