
Antonelli Tops Practice Session at Zandvoort
In the only practice session ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, Antonelli achieved the fastest lap time, clocking in at 12.949 seconds. Norris and Russell followed closely behind, finishing second and third respectively.
The session took place under varying weather conditions, with air temperatures at 18 degrees Celsius and track temperatures at 24 degrees Celsius. Despite earlier rain, the track was declared wet at the start, leading to a mix of tire strategies among the drivers.
Throughout the session, several teams introduced new aerodynamic upgrades aimed at improving performance. Notably, Ferrari and Alpine made significant changes to their floor and wing designs. The session concluded with Antonelli leading the pack, while Verstappen finished in eleventh place.
