Aprilia Evaluates Strategy Amid MotoGP Title Race

As the MotoGP season approaches its final five rounds, Aprilia is faced with a strategic decision regarding its support for riders Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi in the championship race against Ducati.

After a successful 1-2-3-4 finish at the Indonesian Grand Prix, where Bezzecchi claimed victory, Aprilia acknowledges the need to consider directive guidelines to optimize its chances in the title fight. Currently, Martin leads the standings by two points over Marc Marquez, with Bezzecchi trailing in third place.

Despite the competitive landscape, Aprilia has stated that it will continue to support both riders equally for the time being. However, technical director Fabiano Sterlacchini indicated that discussions about implementing manufacturer orders may arise if the situation necessitates clearer team strategies to prevent conflicts among riders.
