Arizona Cardinals to Retire Larry Fitzgerald's No. 11 and Induct Him into Ring of Honor
The Arizona Cardinals are set to retire Larry Fitzgerald's jersey number, No. 11, during a ceremony at halftime of their Week 7 home game against the Denver Broncos on October 25. This event will mark Fitzgerald's permanent place in the franchise's history.
Fitzgerald, who was recently inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, will also be honored by being inducted into the Cardinals' Ring of Honor on the same night. He spent his entire NFL career with the Cardinals after being drafted third overall in the 2004 NFL Draft, achieving significant milestones including over 17,000 receiving yards and multiple All-Pro selections.
Since Fitzgerald's retirement after the 2020 season, no player has worn the number 11 for the Cardinals. His jersey will be the sixth number retired by the team, joining those of other franchise legends.
