Arman Tsarukyan is gearing up for his fight against Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 331, expressing confidence while acknowledging the challenge posed by Ruffy.

Initially, Tsarukyan was set to face Charles Oliveira, but Dana White confirmed a change in plans. Tsarukyan believes that Ruffy, an exciting striker, is a more difficult opponent compared to Oliveira, despite having previously defeated Oliveira by split decision in 2024.

Tsarukyan noted that his experience from the earlier fight with Oliveira gives him an edge, but he respects Ruffy's striking abilities. He also mentioned that improvements in his grappling skills would prevent Oliveira from submitting him again, referencing a pivotal moment in their previous match.
