Armand Duplantis, the Swedish pole vault champion, has launched the official anthem for the upcoming Ultimate Championship organized by World Athletics. The event is scheduled for September 11-13 in Budapest.

The anthem, titled Gold, was both written and performed by Duplantis, who is also known as Mondo. It is available on major streaming platforms. The championship will feature elite athletes, including world champions and Diamond League winners, with a total prize pool of $10 million.

Duplantis, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, expressed that the song represents a collective spirit beyond individual achievement. He has previously released music, including his debut track Bop in February 2025, and has garnered over 11 million streams on Spotify. The music video for Gold was filmed in Budapest and showcases highlights from his career. Duplantis is set to perform the anthem live at the championship's conclusion.
