Arpichaya Yubol Leads Standard Portland Classic Midway Through

Arpichaya Yubol is currently leading the Standard Portland Classic, holding a one-shot advantage as she seeks her first LPGA tournament victory. The 24-year-old golfer from Thailand shot a second straight 6-under-par 66 at Columbia Edgewater Country Club, bringing her total to 12-under 132.

Yubol's performance included seven birdies, although she recorded her only bogey on the par-4 18th hole. She is one stroke ahead of Sophia Schubert and Pajaree Anannarukarn, both of whom also shot 66 on Friday, as well as South Korea's Hye-Jin Choi, who finished with a 67.

In the standings, several players are tied for fifth place at 9 under, including Rose Zhang and Japan's Erika Hara. Yubol has made the cut in 10 of her 15 events this year, previously finishing as runner-up in two tournaments earlier this season.
