Arsenal Miss Out on Key Attacker in Transfer Window

Arsenal was unable to sign a top-tier attacker during the recent transfer window, despite pursuing Julian Alvarez, Vinicius Junior, and Morgan Rogers. Following the sale of four first-team forwards, questions arise about the team's attacking depth for the upcoming season.

Alvarez, who had been a target for Arsenal, will remain at Atletico Madrid after unsuccessful negotiations. The club's initial focus on Rogers, who transferred to Chelsea for £117 million, and a subsequent approach for Vinicius Junior, who stayed at Real Madrid, also did not yield results. Ultimately, Christos Tzolis was the only forward added to the squad.

With key players like Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard leaving, Arsenal's forward line appears thin. Tzolis is currently the only recognized left winger, and while Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke can provide support, they are also needed in other attacking roles.
