Arsenal Negotiates with Bayer Leverkusen for Defender Jarell Quansah
Arsenal is currently in negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen to acquire defender Jarell Quansah, as the team seeks to strengthen its defensive lineup due to injuries to Jurrien Timber and William Saliba.
Quansah, who transferred to Leverkusen from Liverpool for £35 million last season, has recently returned from an extended break following his participation in the World Cup, where he made three appearances for England. In his first season in Germany, he played 44 matches.
Leverkusen is reportedly reluctant to sell Quansah, having been impressed with his performances and adaptability. Arsenal may need to offer significantly more than the £30 million paid by Leverkusen to secure his transfer, given that he has four years remaining on his contract.
