Arsenal to Retake Team Photo Including William Saliba

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that the club plans to retake their team photograph for the 2026/27 season to include defender William Saliba, who was absent from the original photo earlier this week.

Saliba's omission surprised fans, as he was unavailable due to a medical appointment. The 25-year-old has not played this season because of a back injury but has made 184 appearances for Arsenal, making his absence notable.

Arteta explained that the team photo had been attempted three times before but was canceled due to various reasons, including commercial obligations. He stated that Saliba is in good spirits regarding the situation and is progressing well in his recovery, with a follow-up MRI scheduled for next week to assess his healing.
