Arthur Fery Reaches First ATP Tour Final After Duckworth's Retirement

Fery's achievement marks him as the first British player to reach the final of this ATP 250 event. His recent performance follows a surprising run to the Wimbledon semi-finals in July, and he has now achieved a career-high ranking of 33, surpassing Cameron Norrie to become the British number one.

In the final, Fery will face Ignacio Buse, who secured his place by defeating Benjamin Bonzi. Buse, ranked 36th in the world, is seeking his second title of the season. Fery's appearance in the final comes ahead of the US Open, where he is set to compete against Italian 13th seed Lorenzo Musetti in the first round.
