Ashton Jeanty to Play Despite Injuries in Week 6 Matchup Against Buffalo
Ashton Jeanty is set to play in Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills, despite dealing with an ankle injury since the preseason and a recent foot injury. Coach Klint Kubiak confirmed that Jeanty is feeling better and will not take a week off to heal.
In his previous game against New England, Jeanty struggled, recording 10 carries for 27 yards and three catches for 50 yards. Although he has not scored a rushing touchdown this season, he has managed to achieve at least 12.3 PPR points in three of five games, aided by his consistent performance in the passing game.
This week, Jeanty faces a favorable matchup against a Buffalo defense that ranks second in points allowed to opposing running backs. Six players have already scored over 13.7 PPR points against the Bills this season, raising hopes for Jeanty's performance.
