Aston Villa Agrees to Sign Ibrahim Mbaye from PSG

Aston Villa has secured a verbal agreement to sign Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain. The Senegalese forward, who is 18 years old, has been a long-term target for the club and is seeking regular playing time.

The transfer fee is reported to be around £47 million, following Villa's efforts to replace AC Milan's Rafa Leao, who joined Galatasaray. Mbaye made 24 Ligue 1 appearances last season, scoring three goals and providing two assists.

This summer has seen significant changes in the Villa squad, with several players departing, including Youri Tielemans and Ollie Watkins, who is set to join Al Hilal. Meanwhile, Villa has also agreed to sign Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea as part of their ongoing squad restructuring.
