Aston Villa Finalizes £47m Deal for PSG Winger Ibrahim Mbaye
Aston Villa has reportedly secured a deal in principle to acquire Ibrahim Mbaye, a winger from Paris Saint-Germain, for €55 million (£47 million). The 18-year-old Senegal international is expected to provide versatility on the flanks for the team.
Mbaye made 12 appearances this season, scoring one goal, and had a total of 29 appearances last season, netting three goals. He contributed to PSG's Ligue 1 title win and scored for Senegal during the World Cup.
This transfer marks Villa's tenth addition in a busy window, following the departures of several key players, including Morgan Rogers and Ezri Konsa. Villa's manager, Unai Emery, recently addressed the emotional farewell of striker Ollie Watkins, who is set to leave the club.
