Aston Villa Signs Ibrahim Mbaye from PSG for £47 Million
Aston Villa has finalized the acquisition of Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain for a reported fee of £47 million. The 18-year-old Senegalese winger joins Unai Emery's squad after making 31 appearances for PSG last season, where he scored three goals and provided two assists, contributing to the club's success in both Ligue 1 and the Champions League.
Mbaye, who also played in all four matches for Senegal during the 2026 World Cup, scored in a match against France. He began his career at PSG after transferring from FC Versailles 78 in 2018 and made his senior debut at 16 years old in August 2024.
This signing follows a series of significant additions to Villa's roster, including Alejandro Garnacho, Johan Manzambi, and Nicolas Jackson, as the club aims to strengthen its attacking lineup amid notable departures, including Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins.
