Athena Aims to Break Hulk Hogan's Championship Record

Athena, the current ROH Women’s World Champion, is focused on breaking Hulk Hogan’s record for the longest championship reign. She has held her title for almost 1,363 days and aims to exceed Hogan's 1,474-day reign as WWF World Heavyweight Champion.

In a recent interview, Athena expressed her ambition to achieve this milestone by Christmas. She also reflected on her desire to compete against tougher opponents globally, following her recent match with Hazuki. Athena is eager to defend her title internationally, with an upcoming event in Paris.

Although she has not been officially scheduled for a match in Paris, AEW is set to host the Grand Slam France event on October 6, 2026. Athena won the ROH Women’s Championship in 2022 and has maintained her reign for nearly four years.
