Athena Aims to Join AEW Roster and Compete for Women's Championship

Athena has announced her intention to become a full-time member of the AEW roster, aiming to compete for the Women’s World Championship. She shared her ambitions in an interview with the Dallas Morning News, reflecting on her impressive 1,362-day reign as the ROH Women’s Champion.

In her statements, Athena emphasized her commitment to Ring of Honor but expressed a strong desire to achieve more within AEW. She aspires to not only hold the AEW Women’s Championship but also the TBS Title and tag team titles, showcasing her dedication to elevating her career.

Athena's ambitions have been further fueled by recent events, including the AEW All In event at Wembley Stadium, where her former rival Mercedes Mone secured the AEW Women’s World Championship. The two previously faced off in the 2025 Owen Hart Tournament semi-finals.
