Athletics Acquire Taylor Rashi from Twins

The Athletics have acquired right-handed pitcher Taylor Rashi off waivers from the Minnesota Twins, as announced by the team on August 9, 2026.

This move marks Rashi's third team this season, having previously been traded from the Diamondbacks to the Twins for cash considerations in early June. He did not pitch for the Twins and spent the last two months at Triple-A St. Paul, where he recorded a 4.76 ERA over 17 innings.

The Twins removed Rashi from their 40-man roster to make room for shortstop prospect Kaelen Culpepper.
