Athletics Reactivate Denzel Clarke from Injured List

The Oakland Athletics have reinstated outfielder Denzel Clarke from the 60-day injured list and recalled right-hander Yunior Tur as part of the roster expansion from 26 to 28 players.

Clarke's season has been affected by injuries, starting with a bone bruise in his right foot that placed him on the injured list in April. Although he began a rehabilitation assignment, he suffered a hamstring strain that delayed his return until now. He has played only 22 games this season.

While Clarke is recognized for his defensive skills, his offensive performance has been subpar, with a batting line of .214/.262/.323. In his absence, Henry Bolte has filled the center field position, performing better offensively with a .269 batting average. Infielder Joshua Kuroda-Grauer has been moved to the 60-day injured list due to a serious injury sustained in July.
