Atlanta Braves Eye Freddy Peralta in Free Agency

The Atlanta Braves are reportedly looking for starting pitchers in free agency, with Freddy Peralta emerging as a potential target.

Peralta, who was previously acquired by the New York Mets, struggled to replicate his success from the Milwaukee Brewers before being traded to the Tampa Bay Rays. He finished the regular season with a 3.25 ERA over 10 starts, including a remarkable 0.79 ERA in his last six outings.

The Braves currently have several options for their rotation, including Chris Sale and Spencer Strider, but they need to enhance their lineup. Signing Peralta could be a strategic move, especially considering the Mets may regret not maximizing his potential.
