Atlanta Falcons Activate Jawaan Taylor and Sign Cameron Sample
The Atlanta Falcons have activated right tackle Jawaan Taylor from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. In addition to this move, the team has signed defensive end Cameron Sample.
As part of their roster adjustments, the Falcons also waived long snapper Phil Florenzo and offensive lineman Jack Nelson, who was waived with an injury designation.
Jawaan Taylor, 28, was previously a second-round draft pick by the Jaguars in 2019. He completed the last year of his rookie contract before signing a four-year, $80 million deal with the Chiefs in 2023, which was cut short when he was released this offseason. Taylor then joined the Falcons on a one-year contract worth $5 million.
