Gary Chatman Jr., a three-star quarterback from Snellville, Georgia, has committed to the Auburn Tigers, drawing attention for his potential as a recruit.
In a recent game, Chatman showcased his skills while playing for Brookwood High School, leading his team to a 52-7 victory over Cambridge. He threw for 162 yards and two touchdowns, adding another touchdown on the ground, earning him MVP honors at the Corky Kell + Dave Hunter Classic held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Previously committed to Wake Forest, Chatman flipped his commitment to Auburn after the coaching staff expressed interest in him during the spring. Ranked as the No. 65 quarterback in the 2027 class by 247Sports Composite, he is seen as a promising addition to the team, especially given his dual-threat capabilities and athleticism.
