<p>Austin Cindric, a 27-year-old driver for Team Penske, is currently in contention for a Chase spot in the NASCAR Cup Series. With four races remaining in the regular season, he occupies the 16th position, bolstered by 13 top 15 finishes and 98 stage points.</p><p>This season, Cindric has recorded only four top 10 finishes, with his best result being a fifth place at Darlington. His performance has been characterized by a series of steady finishes, including seven top 15 results in the last eight races, despite not finishing in the top 10 since May.</p><p>As he heads into the upcoming race at Iowa on August 9, Cindric is 38 points ahead of Ryan Preece, another Ford driver. Maintaining his current level of performance could secure his place in the NASCAR Cup Series postseason for the fourth time in five years.</p>
